SYSTEM 2: ARCH TROUSER
This system builds off the skirt/short component from System 1. The row of snaps at the hemp of the shorts were previously used to attach the top half of System 1's vest. The hem is repurposed to attach pant panels: arch shaped components extended with rectangular panels. The patterns for these components are generated in the most abstract form, allowing them to be used in future systems. The side seam of the shorts, the center front snap placket in System 1, allows the user to step in and out of the trouser comfortably while adjusting sizing with the snap 'darts' at the waistband.
